Let’s leave behind our outdated ways of being together. Meet, share a record, watch the horizon no phones, just presence.

PPL Songs (Aghani El Khalq) is a label founded by artist Abdullah Miniawy and operates by Phosphoric Passport. It’s a platform, festival, and movement that supports artists with fair deals, protects their authorship, and reimagines how music reaches people rooted in the human voice as presence, protest, and poetry.

The god panicked when they lost their letters and creation fell behind. From their astonished eyes burst veins of wonder, staring at the life that slipped from my small hands, dissolving like salt against the wind, drifting through a dusty orbit. Salt and dust entwine, and from them rises the splendor of a monument where the Lord stands, crying out to humankind: “My childhood was stolen, my childhood vanished in the blink of an eye.” In an improvised dialogue between Abdullah Miniawy and Hvad, the two unleash their second record after Notice A Tiny Scratch For The Blue Behind. The duo’s music erupts raw and unphilosophized, undigitalized, born one night in Copenhagen where words first emerged on a harmonium steeped in memories that, as dreamers always feared, would never return. Through the art of the lost mine and the falcon watchers’ gaze, Miniawy improvises words, letting the air itself revolve around each syllable until a theme unfolds like a letter addressed back to the past.

A meeting of two uncompromising voices in contemporary sound and performance.
From Copenhagen, HVAD is a sonic pioneer whose work moves between radical techno and South Asian classical traditions, sculpting immersive sagas for body and mind. His uncompromising explorations have reached listeners worldwide, from underground dancefloors to sets by Aphex Twin, and extend into craftsmanship as the founder of Kommunal Dubplate Service, a lacquer and vinyl cutting facility at the heart of Copenhagen’s experimental scene.
Alongside him, Egyptian expressionist Abdullah Miniawy bridges writing, singing, composition, and acting. His voice has carried from the streets of Egypt during the Arab Spring to international stages such as the Festival d’Avignon, ICA London, Haus Der Kunst Munich, and the Louvre. Abdullah’s collaborations range from Erik Truffaz to Kamilya Jubran, Niño de Elche, and more, weaving poetry, avant-garde electronics, and deep-rooted compositions into a singular expression. His multidisciplinary work spans acclaimed soundtracks, award-winning film performances, video game programming and politically charged lyrics that resonate far beyond music.
Together, HVAD and Abdullah create a space where radical experimentation meets raw expression, a performance that challenges boundaries while opening portals between cultures, histories, and futures.
